State of the Anita
Apologies to the handful of people who actually read this blog on a regular basis; I’ve been faithfully watching my movies everyday, but it is allergy season here and I’ve been quite out of it and frequently heavily-medicated the past couple of weeks. It really doesn’t make for the most insightful critical thinking, so I’ve fallen behind on my reviews, as I’m having a difficult enough time maintaining my end-of-term school work. I’ll be catching up on my reviews over the next few days. Coming up are some classics: Night of the Living Dead, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Chinatown and Full Metal Jacket.

I meant to reply to this the other day but got side-tracked by all of my end-of-term schoolwork (I feel your pain there).
I’ve been really enjoying reading your reviews & now have this site in my daily bookmarks list to make sure I don’t miss an update. Not having a daily update is no big deal to me as I know when you do have time to post again it’ll be another quality post and the possibility of another movie I’ll end up researching and watching.
Thank you for your reviews – I love seeing a new one to read when I sit down with my coffee to grab 5 min for myself. Good luck getting through to the end of your semester.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment! I fully intended to get back within a few days of this post, but then I realized I really needed to let myself off the hook with regards to finals. As you know, it’s seriously stressful. But, when school is (mostly) done, I’ll be back and probably posting twice per day until I catch up again.
