As a kid during the 80s, I fucking loved the A-Team. It’s been long enough that I’ve seen the series that I can’t recall many specifics about it, but I can recall the general tone of it and why, both as a kid and now as an adult, I think it’s super cool. I know what you’re thinking: You’ve never seen Beverly Hills Cop before?
What can I possibly say about Shaft (Aside from that he’s a bad mother-)?
Probably the greatest aspect of any science fiction is that it has the power to make the unbelievable believable. It isn’t necessarily easy to accomplish, though, and I think Repo Men is a good example of how a clever and startling idea can be mishandled by failing to inject enough believability into the story.
